ABOUT ACES COMPETITIONS

ICCC 2024 COMPETITION

The ACES International Corporate Consulting Competition is a business planning competition that gathers international competitors around the world to solve real-world issues as entrepreneurs and businessmen. The competition is beginner-friendly and study guides will be available to all competitors.

Resembling the Harvard Business Case Method, competitors are faced with a realistic case scenario representing a business or corporation. In teams of up to 4, a solution, depending on the specifics of the case, will be developed and proposed.

This year, the ICCC competition consists of 2 stages:

STAGE I (Due May 30th): Competitors will submit a pre-recorded presentation pitching their solution to the case, with a time limit of 20 minutes. Additionally, competitors may optionally submit a complementary report to add on to their response to the case. Due to the large amount of competitors this year, the first stage will not occur live.

STAGE II: A select group of competitors will compete live in an extended case scenario (several changes to the previous case study will be made). Competing teams are responsible for developing and presenting their solution within a limited time, including any necessary adaptations to the case at hand. Judges will challenge the solutions proposed, and teams will be scored according to their success in their responses as well as their overall pitch.

The case study will be released on April 1st to all competitors who registered. Past cases, study resources, and other helpful information and guidelines will be released promptly ahead of time. Competitors who place in the Top 25% and above will be eligible for an international certificate or award recognizing their placement/performance.

Professional Judging System

Our judging system undergoes a professional 4 round process that compares each contestant equally based on both relative and absolute metrics to remove judging bias.

It’s not just based on the objective score you initially receive. We compare you to other competitors who may have a worse performance but a better score due to judging bias, and we make necessary adjustments which are run through multiple rounds of evaluation.

PITCH COMPETITIONS

ACES case competitions, investment pitches, and other competitive opportunities occur throughout the year. From Marketing, Management, to Salesmanship, showcase your technical skills in business and start building your resumes and university applications in every way possible.

PROFESSIONAL SEMINARS.

It’s not just a competition. Participate in workshops, events and seminars during ACES competitions to build your connections and insider info on careers and universities.
